Release

Release is a surreal, short animated film exploring the feelings of being trapped in your past. It follows a mysterious “shadow” figure coming to realise that they have to give away part of themselves in order to move on.

Release is a mixed media short animation which incorporated pixelation, stop-motion and paint on glass. 

The set was constructed at The National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield as part of the Animation/ Cinematography and Production Design collaborative project.
